A C-Mount lens has a male thread, which fits in the female thread of the camera. The diameter is 1 in, with 32 threads per inch. The flange – focal distance is 17.526 mm.
CS-Mount is also used often.
A CS-Mount lens has a male thread, which fits in the female thread of the camera. The diameter is 1 in, with 32 threads per inch. The flange – focal distance is 12.52 mm.
With a 5 mm spacer between lens and camera, a C-Mount lens can be used with a CS-Mount camera.
Another lens mount sometimes used in machine vision especially with larger sensors is the Nikon F-Mount bayonet (44 mm diameter, 46.5 mm flange – focal distance).
