di-soric integrates established producer of image processing software
di-soric has acquired Impuls Imaging GmbH, providing another important core component for Industry 4.0 and a powerful in-house image processing program. Alongside premium components such as lighting, lenses, cameras as well as indepth image processing expertise, customers benefit from the flexible, highperformance nVision image processing platform. From now on, the new affiliate will be operating under the name di-soric Imaging GmbH & Co. KG, while the corporate seat will remain in the Bavarian municipality of Türkheim.
For di-soric, the incorporation of the company and more than 20 years of its experience in image processing software is a strategic and consistent step on the path towards becoming a full-range supplier for image processing and integrated complete solutions from one source. The di-soric nVision image processing software has already been successfully integrated into a variety of di-soric Solutions projects. It is gradually being refined, including by the application expertise of di-soric Solutions, and it will be the basis of innovative products and system solutions going forward. Alongside its rapid development environment, nVision features a very intuitive and easily adaptable user interface.
The ability for easy graphical programming is an exceptional advantage. This provides unique flexibility for users. Customers primarily benefit from shorter programming and startup times; systems are ready for production in less time. In practice, the notable advantage is that all systems are able to work from a single software platform—from simple smart systems to PC systems with multiple cameras. In addition, the flexible and modular design of nVision offers all of the prerequisites for creating the necessary solution in a short period of time across industries.
nVision largely eliminates the limitations that have existed to date between classic smart camera parameter configuration and traditional PC programming in high-level languages. The innovative rapid development concept appeals to traditional application engineers for smart cameras as well as specialized programmers. Available runtime licenses significantly lower costs, since customers are able to acquire a software package through di-soric Solutions that is precisely tailored to their requirements.
